This semester we are learning about the art and architecture of Ancient Greece. This summer, Ms. Boykin travelled to Greece and is using her personal photos as well as several websites and books to recreate the experience for students. So far, students have studied the geography of Greece and are using the interactive Ancient Greece section of the British Museum's website to see all the buildings on the Acropolis as well as the Ancient Agora. Soon they will begin work on a two-dimentional Grecian Urn art project.  Look for them soon in the Children's Gallery of the Gadsden Arts Center!
